Reserve Bank raises interest rates for the fourth consecutive month!

The Reserve Bank has increased the cash rate by 50 basis points (.5%) to 1.85%.

Unlikely to be the last rate rise this year, figures from RateCity show the increase (if passed on in full by the banks) will add $140 a month to a $500,000 mortgage with 25 years to go ($472 increase since May 2022).
